Residential Journeyman Electrician — Clinton Electric Company

Location: Timonium, MD — serving Baltimore County and surrounding areas (an easy commute from York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, PA)

About the Role

Clinton Electric Company is hiring experienced residential journeyman electricians. This is residential work only — no new construction tract jobs, no long-term commercial travel. You'll do service, repair, and upgrades in homes: panel work, lighting, wiring repairs, EV chargers, and troubleshooting.

Pennsylvania does not have statewide licensing that transfers to Maryland, so we make the transition easy. If you have 4+ years of documented residential electrical experience, we'll sponsor your Maryland journeyman license — covering exam prep and fees — while you work and earn from day one.

Living in southern PA (York, Shrewsbury, Stewartstown, Delta, Lancaster, Harrisburg)? Northern Baltimore County is a straight shot down I-83 — typically a 35–60 minute commute. Keep your home in PA and work for a top-paying Maryland shop.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of residential electrical experience (service and repair background strongly preferred)

  • Strong troubleshooting and customer-communication skills

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check

  • Journeyman license preferred (any state) — or documented experience qualifying you to sit for the MD exam
